Rumors of a possible Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding in Rhode Island may be losing steam.

According to TMZ, officials in Westerly, Rhode Island, say they have no knowledge of any major wedding plans involving the superstar couple, despite growing speculation that Swift and Kelce could be preparing to tie the knot in the Ocean State.
The rumors have centered on two possible locations in Westerly — Swift's beachfront estate and the nearby Ocean House resort, a luxury destination that has hosted high-profile events in the past.
But Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella told TMZ that neither local police nor town officials have been notified of any wedding plans involving Swift and Kelce.
That detail is noteworthy because local authorities were reportedly involved in preparations surrounding the 2024 wedding of model Olivia Culpo and NFL star Christian McCaffrey at Ocean House.
Given the level of attention that would accompany a Swift-Kelce wedding, it would be unusual for local officials to be completely unaware of plans if such an event were taking place in Westerly.
The Rhode Island rumors also recently faced skepticism from U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, who indicated he wasn't convinced the wedding would be happening in his state.
Swift and Kelce have remained one of the most closely watched celebrity couples in the world, fueling constant speculation about a possible engagement and eventual wedding.
