Trump ripped Hall of Fame voters Wednesday on Truth Social, blasting both the selection process and what he called the league's "unwatchable" kickoff rule.

He argued it's the same flawed mindset that kept Belichick out of Canton, calling the decision "ridiculous" and something that should be overturned.

Belichick, now the head coach at North Carolina, reportedly fell short of the required 80 percent threshold during the January 13 selection meeting, per ESPN.

One lingering issue appears to be resentment tied to the 2007 Spygate scandal, when Belichick and the Patriots were penalized for improperly recording opponents' signals.

Still, Belichick's résumé remains historic. He won six Super Bowls, reached nine, owns the most playoff wins by a head coach, and ranks second all-time in total victories, trailing only Don Shula.

After Spygate, he went on to win three more championships alongside Tom Brady, further cementing his legacy as one of the sport's most successful coaches.

Trump, a longtime friend of Belichick, famously read a glowing letter from the coach during a 2016 campaign rally. He's also close with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who is under Hall of Fame consideration himself.

The 2026 Hall of Fame class will be announced next week, with induction ceremonies set for August in Canton.

Whether Belichick hears his name this time remains one of the biggest storylines in football history.
