President Donald Trump wasted little time weighing in on the sudden availability of John Harbaugh.

A day after the Baltimore Ravens announced they were parting ways with Harbaugh, Trump posted a brief endorsement on Truth Social, urging teams to move quickly.
"HIRE JOHN HARBAUGH, FAST. HE, AND HIS BROTHER, ARE TOTAL WINNERS!!!" Trump wrote, referencing Jim Harbaugh, the coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.
The message came hours after Baltimore confirmed its decision to move on from Harbaugh following an 8-9 season that ended without a playoff berth for the first time since 2021. Harbaugh spent 18 seasons with the Ravens and delivered a Super Bowl title during the 2012 campaign.
Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti acknowledged the magnitude of the decision in a statement released Tuesday night.
"This was an incredibly difficult decision," Bisciotti said, citing Harbaugh's longevity, leadership, and impact on the organization. He praised Harbaugh as a coach of integrity and pointed to his Super Bowl championship and deep ties to the Baltimore community.
"Our goal has always been and will always be to win championships," Bisciotti added. "We strive to consistently perform at the highest level on the field and be a team and organization our fans take pride in."
Harbaugh, who was hired in 2008 after nine seasons as an assistant with the Philadelphia Eagles, responded with a message of gratitude rather than bitterness.
"I was hoping for a different kind of message on my last day here, someday, but that day has come today," Harbaugh said. "It comes with disappointment, certainly, but more with gratitude and appreciation."
Now 63, Harbaugh is widely viewed as the top coaching candidate on the market. Multiple teams are believed to have interest, with seven franchises currently holding vacancies, including the New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, and Cleveland Browns. There have also been rumors of interest from a team without an official opening, including the Miami Dolphins.
The Giants, who dismissed Brian Daboll during the season, have already lined up interviews with several candidates as the coaching carousel begins to spin in earnest.
Harbaugh, meanwhile, appears firmly at the center of it.
