Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp appears to be on the trade block, with increasing signs that his tenure with the team may be coming to an end. Kupp, who has been a cornerstone of the Rams' offense for years, could soon be heading to a new destination after enduring an injury-plagued past few seasons.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford, whose own future with the Rams remains uncertain, acknowledged the possibility of Kupp's departure in an interview this week, expressing that it would be difficult to see the star wide receiver leave the organization.
"I've been around long enough to know that anything is possible," Stafford said in an interview with CBS Sports. "But Cooper has been a pillar of this community and organization for a long time, since he got drafted here."
Stafford praised Kupp's impact both on and off the field. "His ability to impact the guys in our locker room, obviously his play on the football field and the people in the community, the people he's been able to impact — it's incredible," he added.
The duo of Stafford and Kupp had one of the most memorable seasons by a wide receiver in recent NFL history in 2021. Kupp led the league with 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns, earning the receiver "triple crown" and being named AP Offensive Player of the Year. Kupp continued his postseason heroics, catching 33 passes for 478 yards and six touchdowns, including a Super Bowl MVP performance in the Rams' victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
"The guy is as good as it gets when it comes to making plays on the grass, but he's probably even better in our locker room and in the meeting rooms and as a family man," Stafford said. "I'm just lucky to spend the time I got to spend with him. Probably spent more time with Cooper Kupp than any other teammate I've ever had as far as in the building and talking football and being about football."
"I'll miss him not being on the same team," Stafford concluded.
However, Kupp's time with the Rams has been marred by injuries in recent years. Over the past three seasons, he has been limited to just nine, 12, and 12 games, respectively. In 2024, Kupp posted 67 receptions for 710 yards and six touchdowns.
A third-round draft pick in 2017, Kupp will turn 32 in June, making his future in Los Angeles increasingly uncertain.
