It was last year when Randy Moss's eye color began to concern fans during his weekly gig on Sunday NFL Countdown. The following week he showed up on set with sunglasses stating that he was "battling something internally," and ultimately revealed that he was battling cancer.

"So I did have cancer," Moss said during a 2024 Instagram live. "They found it in the bile duct right between the pancreas and the liver, and that the cancer was sitting right outside the bile duct."
Randy Moss's Business Partner Shares Health Update
Moss has remained mum for the most part since undergoing cancer treatment. But fans got an update on the Hall of Fame wide receiver to start the new year.
TMZ caught up with Moss's business partner Brittany Tolliferreo, who he is opening up with a Miami chicken restaurant with. When asked about Moss's current state, Tolliferreo said that the Minnesota Vikings legend is in "great spirits."
"He was in great spirits when I talked to him, I haven't noticed any change in him, he's pretty consistent with his personality," she told TMZ.
"He's a smart and strong businessman and he wants everything to be successful and continue to grow."
Bill Belichick Sends Former Pats Star Heartfelt Message
Moss i most well known for his time with the Minnesota Vikings. But he was also an integral part of the 2007 Patriots team that nearly had a perfect season. Bill Belichick, who was the head coach of that Patriots squad, sent a heartfelt message to Moss following his announcement.
"He was so unselfish. He did so many things that he never got credit for—never wanted credit for," Belichick said.
"Helping kids, spending money to give kids experiences at his own expense, putting them up at hotels, taking them to games, doing so many charitable things—and he was never about the credit. He just wanted to do it for the sake of doing it because he was such a good person. Randy, our thoughts and prayers are with you."
