The Vikings linebacker was shoved into referee Adrian Hill during the first quarter of Sunday's 15-10 win over the Dolphins. Hill fell to the turf, then got up and confronted Wilson as the linebacker reached toward him. Another official stepped between them. No flag was thrown.
The play had been blown dead for a neutral zone infraction, but Wilson and Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II continued battling. Gordon pushed Wilson into Hill. The collision appeared accidental, which made Hill's reaction the part of the play that drew attention online.
The NFL also said it is reviewing this play, at least the second today involving an interaction between a player and an official. https://t.co/RM0pZMuwMj

Wilson pointed toward Gordon as if to explain what had happened. Later, he said he and Hill spoke at halftime. Wilson apologized, and Hill told him he had been trying to prevent a confrontation between the two players.
"That was funny, honestly," Wilson told reporters afterward.
The NFL is reviewing the exchange, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. That does not mean discipline is coming for Wilson or Hill. The league had announced no action as of Monday afternoon.
Minnesota improved to 4-0, with kicker Will Reichard providing all 15 of its points. Yet one of the most replayed moments from the win involved neither a touchdown nor a field goal. It was a linebacker getting pushed into a referee, offering a hand and finding out the referee wasn't ready to take it.
