Reggie Bush Scared Away Burglars Who Attempted To Break Into His LA Mansion

Former USC running back Reggie Bush nearly was the victim of a home invasion on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

That is to say, around 11 pm PT in Encino, the attempted home burglary took place on 4700 block of Noeline Avenue near Ventura Boulevard.

Since Bush was home at the time, he heard them break one of the windows, so he yelled out, which apparently scared the suspects away.

When the police showed up, broken glass was seen near the rear entry of the house. In regards to if the criminals knew this was Bush's residence or not is unknown. As for if anything was taken from the multi-million dollar home, that information has been undivulged, but all in all luckily no one was harmed.

To point out, this is just one of multiple incidences in the area as there were at least eight attempted home break-ins reported in the San Fernando Valley area in July alone, according to KTLA5.

To note, according to TMZ, Bush purchased his $5.65 million dollar house back in 2019, and it reportedly came with a fortified alarm system and an array of surveillance cameras. Not to mention, the whole estate is supposed to be both walled and gated off, so just getting onto the property was apparently a challenge.

In view of Bush's football career, he is a local legend after winning the Heisman trophy, racking up 2,218 yards and 18 total touchdowns during the 2005 season.

Notably, he was the second overall pick selected by the New Orleans Saints and went on to play 11 seasons in the NFL. Having a successful career as both a running back and All-Pro return man, he scored 58 total touchdowns and helped the Saints win Super Bowl XLIV (2010).
