Most reports have ticketed Romo to Denver since it became obvious the Dallas Cowboys had no need for a 37-year-old injury plagued quarterback when they have a 24-year-old in Dak Prescott who is clearly the team's future.
But in a game of chicken and what seems like endless posturing, the Dallas Cowboys say they want to try to trade Romo instead of releasing him for nothing.
Good luck with that.

John Elway is one of the shrewdest executives in football and the leaked information from Denver could be his way of sending a message.
Otherwise, you have to believe he's OK with either Trevor Siemian or the unproven Paxton Lynch at the helm, and even an aging Romo is an upgrade.
Still, from all of this, one thing is obvious — If Romo ends up in Denver, it will be on Elway's terms.
If not Denver, the Houston Texans seem like a possible destination since both teams have the personnel to make a Super Bowl run with a solid quarterback at the helm.
