After 12 seasons and two Super Bowls in New York, Tom Coughlin resigned from his position as head coach earlier this week. But if things fall the right way, the 69-year-old coach could be staying in the NFC East.

Fox Sports reported Saturday morning that the Giants have granted the Philadelphia Eagles an interview with Coughlin, and it's expected to happen on Monday.

The Eagles fired head coach Chip Kelly after less than three full seasons. Philadelphia has plenty of talent, and if there's a coach that can get the most out of his guys, it's Coughlin.

With the way things ended in New York, it would be no surprise if he stuck it to the franchise he spent so long with.
