Report: Two quarterbacks pushing for landing spot in Dallas

Could Tony Romo have a new backup next season?

After Robert Griffin III lost his starting gig in Washington and Johnny Manziel survived a tumultuous season in Cleveland, both quarterbacks are pushing for a new landing spot with the Dallas Cowboys, according to Yahoo! Sports.

RGIII, the former No. 2 overall pick by the Redskins, has been one of the most oft-injured quarterbacks in the NFL since tearing his ACL and hasn't seemed to every regain his footing. The handling of Griffin has been questionable at best in Washington.

As for Manziel, the absolute opposite has happened in Cleveland. He's been relatively healthy, but hasn't earned the trust of management after repeated letdowns. From stints in rehab to partying on weekends, Manziel hasn't done himself any favors as of late.

Whether Dallas takes a flyer on either of these guys is unknown, but there are certainly concerns with both.
