"We hope to work this out to everyone's satisfaction," a Nike spokesperson said Friday.
Gronkowski has until Aug. 5 to respond to the opposition.
Gronkowski's attorney, Tony Carnrite, said he hopes they can resolve the situation amicably.
The logos are similar, but it's odd that Nike is making that big of a deal about it since Gronk is a Nike spokesman. The issue should be resolved soon, and it will be intriguing to see if Gronk has to make a change or if he fights the claim.
