Aguayo's release comes after he missed two more kicks in a preseason game on Friday night, including this extra point.

Aguayo's awful tenure in Tampa Bay is particularly shocking since Aguayo had a fantastic career at Florida State. Aguayo rarely missed any kicks with the Seminoles, and to see him struggle so much at the NFL level goes to show that kicking is just as much mental as it is physical.
In the 2016 season with Tampa, Aguayo made 22 of his 31 field goal attempts. He also missed two extra-points on the year. The Buccaneers will now likely go with kicker Nick Folk going forward.
