His Twitter was reportedly hacked, releasing a video of someone smoking through a gas mask moments before the draft. His Instagram account later sent out text messages appearing to show a deal where the offensive lineman receiving money from Ole Miss coaches.
And then he admitted to it during a media session.
So when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was asked about the sequence of bizarre events, here was his response, per Deadspin:
"I think it's all part of what makes the draft so exciting. Clubs make decisions. Sometimes they take risks. Sometimes they do the right things. Sometimes they don't, and we'll see. Hopefully he is going to turn out to be a great young player."
It's an awful look for Tunsil and an even worse look for Goodell, who just basically said ratings are worth a kid's life being ruined by someone else.
Yep, thats real exciting.
