Roger Staubach says he's rooting for the Cowboys except for this one player

One thing set Staubach over the edge when it comes to this player.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy hasn't done much to turn public perception in his favor during his tenure with the team.

He's had disrespectful comments, a spat with a teammate and pictures from his alleged domestic violence case were released.

And while owner Jerry Jones stands by the controversial player, at least one NFL legend is putting his foot down when it comes to Hardy, via USA Today:

"I'm rooting for the Cowboys, I don't root for him," Staubach told USA TODAY Sports Tuesday. "I'm still rooting for the Cowboys. I'm not a Hardy fan."

The former player continued to discuss his gripes with Hardy, which included pictures released from his alleged domestic violence case last week, his spat with teammates and coaches, and controversial comments off the field.

Staubach isn't the first to turn on Hardy in recent weeks, and he likely won't be the last.
