The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with veteran cornerback Ronald Darby, league sources tell FanBuzz.
Darby's deal, according to sources, is a one-year pact worth up to $3.2 million, following a free agent visit on Thursday.
"He's a veteran and a gambler who's aggressive in coverage," an AFC Scouting Director told FanBuzz, when asked what Darby brings to the Ravens. "He can be a solid backup or next guy up in a secondary like Baltimore's. He still has plenty of speed and quickness."

Prior to suffering a torn ACL in Week 5 of the 2022 season, Darby made 12 solo tackles, while holding opposing quarterbacks to a 66.9 passer rating and allowing only 11.1 yards per reception to opposing receivers when he was targeted.
Darby, 29, won a Super Bowl ring with the Eagles back in 2017 and spent the past two seasons with the Denver Broncos following a one-year stint with Washington back in 2020.
A former second-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 2015 NFL Draft, Darby has posted eight career interceptions, along with 373 total tackles with eight tackles for loss and one quarterback hit. While Darby produced a 71.1 overall grade from Pro Football Focus last season, and an elite 86.5 run-defense grade, durability remains a bit of a concern, given the fact that he has appeared in a full season just once in his career.
Cornerback became a pressing need for the Ravens, following Marlon Humphrey undergoing surgery and Rock Ya-Sin missing practice time throughout training camp due to a knee injury.
Darby brings an experienced veteran presence to the Ravens' secondary, that is built around strong safety play from 2022 first-rounder Kyle Hamilton, who posted 62 total tackles with a pair of sacks and one forced fumble as a rookie, and veteran Marcus Hamilton.
