Fans Disappointed After Slow Seattle, Arizona First Half

But despite the anticipation building up the the matchup, the game undelivered once the teams took the field. At the end of the first half, both teams combined for just 10 points as the Seahawks led the Cardinals 7-3.

At the end of the half, fans expressed their disappointment on social media.

"The #Seahawks offense is so poorly run. Start every drive with a pass that inevitably ends up with a holding penalty while their best weapon, Walker, sits on the sideline. Run the ball," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"I barely watch the Cardinals but that was one of the most boring halves of football I could have watched lol," another user added.

Media Pundit Suggests Seahawks, Jaguars QB Swap

The Seahawks looked like they would be one of the top contenders in the NFC after a 3-0 start to the season. But since that point, it has all been downhill for Seattle. And with the end of the season inching closer, the Seahawks are fighting to stay alive in the playoff hunt. After making a coaching change last offseason, you wonder if there could be more movement for the Seahawks if they have another failed season.

Geno Smith has found new life in Seattle after a rough start in his career. But his numbers this season have been fairly pedestrian. He has already thrown the third most interceptions of his career (11) with six games remaining in the season.

NFL media Pundit Maryssa Myers believes it makes sense for the Seahawks to trade Smith for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, Trevor Lawrence.

"For Lawrence, the ideal team to be traded to will be the Seattle Seahawks... Smith has shown flashes of athleticism, being able to scramble and work outside the pocket, but it isn't at the level as some of the top quarterbacks in today's league," Myers said.

"Lawrence is one of those quarterbacks that would come and provide a better mobility factor to the Seahawks offense. With having a talented receiver group like DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Tyler Lockett, Lawrence would have a reliable  group to throw to and show his full potential marked him as "generational" coming out of the 2021 NFL Draft."
