It looks like the Seattle Seahawks could be facing a large penalty after some recent talks from head coach Pete Carroll with regards to star corner Richard Sherman.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the NFL could dock the Seahawks a second-round pick due to a failure to disclose an knee injury to Sherman.

This goes back to Carroll saying after their season was over that Sherman had been dealing with an MCL injury for part of the season, of which Sherman may have missed time in practice for. However, the Seahawks never listed such an issue with Sherman on their injury report, which goes against NFL rules.
The Seahawks went 10-5-1 this season, losing in the divisional playoff round to the Atlanta Falcons.
