Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders is under fire again, this time for his NFL history takes.

During a recent appearance on The Rush Podcast with Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby, Sanders was asked to name his Mount Rushmore of quarterback-wide receiver duos. Things started off reasonably enough with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski — even if Gronk was a tight end — and then Aaron Rodgers with Davante Adams.
But Sanders' next two picks raised more than a few eyebrows.
He named Derek Carr and Chris Olave, followed by DK Metcalf and "whoever the Steelers' starting quarterback is going to be." The Carr-Olave pairing especially caught Crosby off guard.
"That's a curveball," he said. "I wasn't expecting that."
It's a fair reaction. Carr and Olave have only spent two seasons together and haven't made a Pro Bowl or postseason run in that span.

Sanders also omitted some of the most iconic tandems in league history, including Joe Montana-Jerry Rice, Peyton Manning-Marvin Harrison, and Troy Aikman-Michael Irvin, the latter of whom played alongside Sanders' father, Deion, on the 1990s Cowboys.
Whether Sanders was just having fun or seriously ranking his favorites is unclear. But the response has not helped his image, especially following an offseason that already featured a speeding incident and a rocky start to his time in Cleveland.
That said, it's just football, and hey, everyone has a right to their opinion, regardless of how bizarre those opinions might sound.
At any rate, Sanders and the Browns are still seeking a starter with four QBs currently on the roster. Most likely, Sanders is battling third-round pick Dillon Gabriel as the primary backup behind Joe Flacco. Former first-round pick Kenny Pickett is also in the mix.
