Shedeur Sanders And Cam Ward Argue Over Who Is The ‘Generational Talent’ While Training Together Ahead Of NFL Draft

As the top NFL prospects are getting ready for this year's 2025 Draft, two of the top quarterbacks, Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Miami's Cam Ward were seen training together with QB coach Darrell Colbert Jr. in Texas.

In a recent video filmed by Well Off Media, the two potential top draft picks had a verbal exchange where they each traded barbs back-and-forth.

That is, there is much talk about which player is going to be the No. 1 overall Draft pick, as the Tennessee Titans GM put out a statement saying the franchise won't pass on a "generational talent," with the first pick this year.

And while many believe this statement was in reference to Sanders' teammate, two-way star Travis Hunter, both quarterbacks joked about it being about themselves.

"They said generational talent," Ward said. "I'm going to prove them right."

"I'm generational," Sanders said. "So, I guess it's article versus article."

Ward responded, "I like that you think that... But we all know the truth."

"What?" Sanders questioned. "That Trav (Travis Hunter) gonna be first."

As of now, the betting favorite to be the top pick in the Draft is Ward with -105 odds, while Heisman trophy winner Hunter is not far behind at +150 odds. Sanders is currently +350, and there is even mention that Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter could be in the mix (+900 odds).

The Titans certainly could use a quarterback as they have struggled to find stability at the position.

In 2023, the Titans drafted Will Levis with the No. 33 overall pick, and he has appeared in 21 NFL games, throwing for 3,899 yards (61% completion rate) to go with 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

When looking at who could possibly be a replacement in Tennessee, Sanders and Ward are both viable candidates.

In view of their 2024 season stats, Ward threw for 4,313 yards with 39 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, while Sanders put up 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns/10 interceptions.

If the Titans do end up passing on a quarterback, then the next two teams in the draft order, the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants, surely wouldn't mind selecting Sanders or Ward.
