Sanders, Ward Trade Shots Ahead of NFL Draft
Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward have been spotted training together ahead of the draft. And in a recently surfaced video, the two superstar quarterbacks are trading jabs with each other during training.
Shedeur tells Ward "I'm not trying to compete with you," and Ward sarcastically responds "You should be."
As usual, the viral exchange led to a bunch of fan reactions on social media.
"They sound like 10-year-olds when they are around each other," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Look at the difference in arm talent ain't even close. Cam's arm is way better look at the zip compared to Sanders. Night and day." another user said.
Deion Sanders Sounds Off on Julian Lewis Commitment
On November 21, quarterback Julian Lewis, a five-star recruit, announced his commitment to Colorado last season. It's a huge win for the program with Shedeur Sanders expected to enter the 2025 NFL Draft. Following the news, Sanders expressed his excitement about the future of the program.
"It was a great thing for the program," Sanders said. "We know that's been in the working for quite some time. Great kid, with great talent. I like the qualities and the home structure. I like all of that, and I can't wait to be a part of his life and coach him."
Lewis' commitment came just five days after flipping his decision to play at USC. When asked about his recruitment process, Sanders explained that it is mainly a matter of "feeling."
"When I feel it in my spirit, you know, get [Lewis] on the phone and get his poppa on the phone, see if his dad wanna come down and just sit down and chop it up with me," Sanders added.
