That doesn't necessarily excuse the earlier tweets, but she recognizes any mistakes she may have made and apologizing for that is a good step. Her husband certainly doesn't need any extra scrutiny and to be asked questions about it in the middle of the season. Those would definitely be questions he doesn't want to be answering as his team is trying to make it to the Big Ten Championship with one loss on their resume.
Ohio State is coming off a 56-14 win at Nebraska and are on bye until hosting Penn State during Halloween weekend. That game is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on FOX.
