Jonathan Owens, who is the husband of seven-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simon Biles, plays safety for the Chicago Bears, and on Sunday he scored a touchdown off of a blocked punt, which played a key part in the team's 24-17 comeback victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Considering Owens traveled all the way to Paris this summer to support his wife competing at the 2024 Olympics, witnessing her win three gold medals, it was only right Biles came to watch the Bears' season opener, and she certainly got a show.

Bears' Daniel Hardy, who made the roster during the preseason, is the one who blocked the punt from Titans' Ryan Stonehouse, then Owens scooped it up and scored to bring the game to be only a one-possession game.

In what some viewed as controversy, the announcer Adam Amin, called Owens 'Mr. Biles,' and this could have been in reference to the NFL player receiving backlash after previously stating he was "the prize" in the relationship.
In view of the game on Sunday, An X account (@SNFonNBC) asked Biles how she felt after her husband scored and she responded, "I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK."

The Bears ended up winning the game, and this play was seen as the key momentum changer to get things rolling in starting a comeback.
To note, rookie No. 1 overall pick quarterback Caleb Williams was able to get a win in his NFL debut, which means he is the first rookie QB to start a game and get a win since 2002 first overall pick David Carr (Houston Texans def. Dallas Cowboys 19-10).

All in all, it wasn't a dazzling performance to say the least, as the former USC quarterback passed for 93 yards on 14-of-29 attempts and did not score a touchdown.
That is to say, there is no doubt the Bears defense and special teams are the ones who get credit for this win.
With the Titans up by one point halfway through the fourth quarter, QB Will Levis tossed the ball right into the arms of Tyrique Stevenson, who took it to the house, which became the game-winning play.

After the game, Owens celebrated the 17-point come-from-behind win by talking to the fans and his Olympian wife.

Owens was seen signing a sign that read, "The Chiefs have Travis & Taylor but our Bears have the gold medal couple Simone & Jonathan."
