Max Kellerman, ending his first full week as a co-host of ESPN's First Take, discussed the quarterback situation in New England after Tom Brady's suspension. Here's what he said referring to Brady, per FTW.
"He's just about done. He's going to be a bum in short order."
The 38-year-old Brady certainly isn't going to play another 10 years or so, but he's by no stretch of the imagination "going to be a bum in short order."
In fact, Brady's just heating up, when you take a look at his numbers (per Pro Football Reference).
He completed 64.4 percent of his passes last season (his best since 2011), threw for 36 touchdowns (another best since 2011), seven interceptions (his fewest since 2010) and tossed for over 4,700 yards.
And that future "bum" is going to be on a wrecking path when he returns to the gridiron against the Cleveland Browns after serving his four-game suspension.
