The Seattle Seahawks are perennial powers in the NFC, even with the retirement of star running back Marshawn Lynch. Lynch is about as fun to watch play as he is to listen to so it'd stand to reason that his former teammates aren't alone with holding out hope that he doesn't stay away for long.
Former teammate Richard Sherman was asked by former teammate and current NFL.com analyst Michael Robinson about Lynch's departure and if he thought Lynch would remain retired.
"I don't put anything past him," Sherman said at Robinson's youth football camp on Saturday. "He's about as predictable as a pair of dice. So I don't try to call his plays."
"But obviously, it's going to be different. We got a little sample of it last year ... I think we're prepared for it in some aspects, but you really never want to be prepared for that. You really would hope he comes back. In the back of your mind, you hope he comes back and plays another year."
An injury-plagued 2015 kept Lynch from being the "Beast Mode" we all know and love, limiting him to just 417 yards and three touchdowns. Still, imagine the responses he'll give to the media if he does indeed return.
He has to open up the press conference, wearing a pair of Ray-Bans, with "You know why I'm here" after he finishes chewing several hand-picked Skittles.
