Steelers QB Justin Fields Takes Shot At Bears Following Offseason Trade

It is only Week 4 of the young NFL season, but already there have been several surprises. One of those surprises has been the Pittsburgh Steelers. Many people were not sure what to expect from the Steelers this season. There were even conflicts about who would be under center for them in their opener.

To many people's surprise, the Steelers have not suffered a loss to this point of the season — boasting a 3-0 record and a lot of that has to do with Justin Fields.

So many times you hear players talk about their success being dependent on their situation, and apparently, that is also the case for Fields.

Fields recently appeared on the Not Just Football podcast and was asked which team had the better coaching system between Pittsburgh and Chicago. And Fields almost immediately said that the Steelers were better. In fact, he said, "It's not close." Fields also alluded to the fact that he has better teammates in Pittsburgh than he does in Chicago.

Steelers New QB Shining After Chicago Departure

Field couldn't lead the Bears to the playoffs during his three seasons with the franchise. But he put up some solid growth during his tenure. In his first season, he threw just seven touchdowns, in his second year he threw 17, in his third year he threw 16 touchdowns and had a career-low nine interceptions.

But Fields' growth did not matter after the Bears were awarded the number one overall pick in last year's NFL Draft. Because every scout in the league was salivating at the opportunity to draft quarterback standout Caleb Williams out of USC.

Some felt that Fields never got a fair shake during his tenure. Many preferred for the franchise to go a different route and draft a wide receiver like Marvin Harrison Jr. But instead, the Bears drafted Williams and parted ways with Fields during the offseason.

So far things have gone opposite for the two quarterbacks. Williams has struggled offensively with the Bears having just one win. Fields on the other hand has thrived with the Steelers looking primed for a playoff run. It has many wondering if the Bears are the problem.
