NFL owner believes the best job in the league is with another team

That's...something.

Steve Bisciotti, the owner of the Baltimore Ravens, actually believes the best job in the NFL is with the Green Bay Packers. An owner saying that isn't exactly something you hear every single day.

The Green Bay Packers were, at one point, kicking around the idea of hiring Baltimore's assistant general manager Eric DeCosta. That never happened, as Bisciotti wants DeCosta to one day helm his entire organization, but the owner really thinks the Green Bay gig is too good to be true.

Relax, Baltimore fans. It will all make sense in a second.

"To me, that's the best job in the NFL," Bisciotti said via Jamison Hensley of ESPN. "Working for me is the second best. But working for no owner is the best and that's what the Packers offered him that nobody else does. If I was going to let Eric go, I would certainly have let him go for the Packers job because I think it's a really cool job."

He's not wrong. Having no real owner to answer to would be pretty neat. It also wouldn't hurt to start rebuilding the Green Bay franchise with Aaron Rodgers under center.

The Packers ended up hiring Brian Gutekunst as their general manager. According to Bisciotti, he has the best job in the NFL. Good for him.
