Survey shows what NFL players think about DeflateGate

The NFL's Deflategate investigation continues as Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell meet in court today.

ESPN's NFL Nation reporters and ESPN The Magazine contributors polled over 100 players regarding the Deflategate scandal. While 72 percent of respondents believe the Patriots were responsible for lowering air pressure in the footballs, only 16 percent said they were "upset" by it and 68 percent said they think other teams do the same thing. Sixty percent said they don't believe the Patriots are "cheaters."

According to nearly 80% of the players polled, Brady's four-game suspension is too long. It's no surprise that 88 percent believe league discipline should not be determined solely by Goodell.

Even if the allegations against Brady are true, NFL players from other teams appear to see the whole ordeal as a wild overreaction. Even other NFL owners are growing tired of hearing about Deflategate.
