As it turns out, Taylor Swift may have had a blank space in her schedule for Travis Kelce after all.
After the pop superstar supposedly snubbed the Kansas City Chiefs star over the summer, reports are circulating that the pair have been "quietly hanging out."

Kelce recounted his Taylor Swift concert experience in a discussion with his brother Jason on their popular podcast, New Heights. He stated that he enjoyed the concert tremendously, as did hundreds of thousands of other fans, but expressed disappointment that Swift snubbed his attempts to meet up.
He had made a friendship bracelet, a practice that many concert-goers have taken up during Swift's Eras Tour in reference to a lyric in her song "You're On Your Own, Kid," but his was special. Kelce's had his phone number on it, and the fearless tight end wanted to deliver it to Swift herself.
Jason, a Philadelphia Eagles legend, suggested that Swift's hesitancy to meet with Travis was that she herself is a longtime Eagles fan, and Travis was an enormous part of the Chiefs' Super Bowl win over her favorite team. As it turns out, that bad blood may not have mattered, if the rumors are true, and it could be that she really was just busy amidst the mega-tour, and resting her voice outside of shows.
Swift has had her fair share of celebrity romances; she briefly dated Matty Healy of the 1975 after ending an approximately six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. Before that, she had a quick summer romance with Tom Hiddleston after a year and a half relationship with Calvin Harris, and the list goes on and on- but she's never dated a pro athlete, at least not that the public has been made aware of.
If she's chosen to finally break into that corner of the dating pool, she's done so in style- Kelce is a two-time Super Bowl champion, four-time first team All Pro, and a surefire first ballot hall of famer. Kelce and Swift are exactly the same age, and at 6'5, he lines up perfectly not just against NFL secondaries, but also the height profile that the 5'11 Swift has often preferred in her romantic partnerships.
It's a delicate situation, and hard to know if Kelce could be Swift's endgame after a long journey in romance for the legendary singer, but it's certainly exciting to see sparks fly between two absolute superstars in their respective fields. For NFL and Swift fans, it's certainly a pairing that far exceeds our wildest dreams.
