Taylor Swift Baked Cinnamon Rolls For Travis Kelce and Rave Reviews Are In

You'll never guess who offered up an emphatic, grade-A approval of Taylor Swift's baking talents.

To say it's been a quite the unusual NFL season would likely be a top candidate for understatement of the year. Although having said that, there probably aren't many football fans or "Swifties" out there who expected Taylor Swift's baking skills to clear its way to the "buzzing sports news" category.

Alas, here we are and former Cleveland Browns star quarterback Bernie Kosar is, somehow, prominently in the mix. Why? Because it's 2023 and any type of headline involving the indestructible sandwich of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce often lends itself to all kinds of mystery guests entering the equation.

There's also the existence of the Cleveland connection between Kosar and the Kelce's, so it's not as random as it might seem. Plus, if you're an active Taylor Swift appearance tracker, there was this hilariously out-of-nowhere Swift-Kosar photo from late October that quickly led to many more questions than it did answers.

The good news is we finally have some details regarding that viral photo, along with the specifics as to why Bernie Kosar appeared to look so unbelievably, uh, overjoyed in said photo. And yes, it 100 percent has everything to do with the aforementioned baking talents of Taylor Swift and the cinnamon rolls she had made for Travis Kelce's pre-game meal.

Cinnamon rolls that Kosar happily sampled during that now-famous Week 7 Chiefs-Chargers watch party.

Here's audio of Kosar from Cleveland's Star 102:

In somewhat of a rambling rant — explaining that he's greatly into juicing and health in general — Kosar emphatically crowned Taylor's cinnamon rolls as "awesome." You can literally hear the ever-growing smile on his face the entire time he's speaking in the clip.

But wait, there's more. Not only were the cinnamon rolls awesome, so is Taylor Swift.

Here's Kosar again during the same appearance:

The bulk of the quote is warranted in this case, because Kosar offered a truly genuine message:

"Then all of a sudden, this is so cool," Kosar said. "Taylor Swift comes in, by herself, and is so nice and humbled. And for Swifties out there, for young mothers or fathers out there, who their kids look up to her, there are a lot of role models out there that maybe are disingenuous or maybe not the proper ones to look up to. From looking up to her, I had heard she was awesome, ok, and getting a chance to meet her. I can't believe how even more awesome she was."

The way Kosar said the word "awesome" at the end there should really be in bold, neon letters on a billboard in Times Square. Forget those amazing rolls, Bernie was that impressed with Taylor Swift the person.

In all honesty, it's pretty cool to hear someone like Swift — who carries a mind-blowing level of celebrity status at the moment — just casually strolled into the house and acted like a friendly neighbor who baked some cinnamon rolls for everyone to enjoy during the Chiefs-Chargers game.

It's equally great to know that 60-year-old Bernie Kosar — a Browns legend who also led the Miami Hurricanes to a national championship in 1983 — is not just a "Swiftie," but an unwavering advocate too.
