Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are finally engaged, which means the NFL officially belongs to her now.

The pop star dropped the announcement on Instagram with the caption, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." Translation: one of them grades your essays, the other blows a whistle and makes you run laps.
Kelce went full Hallmark Channel, getting down on one knee in a flower-filled garden while wearing a navy collared shirt and shorts that look like they belong in a Boca Raton retirement community. Swift rocked a striped summer dress and, of course, flashed a ring the size of Arrowhead Stadium.
This fairytale moment comes less than two years after Kelce admitted he tried (and failed) to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it after her Eras Tour stop. That's right. He went from "fanboy in the stands" to "fiancé with a rock the size of Nebraska."
"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," she once told TIME.
Since then, they've been playing the world's most public game of "meet the parents" and "show up at each other's work." Swift has been spotted screaming from suites at Chiefs games while Kelce has been lurking side stage at her concerts, even joining her in London. The power couple is basically keeping Delta Airlines in business.
So here we are: America's tight end and the world's pop icon, officially locked in. And if you thought Chiefs games were already a circus, wait until the wedding registry leaks.
