Hall of Fame former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens was struck by a car on Monday night following an argument during a pickup basketball game, law enforcement told TMZ.

In the TMZ report, police said Owens was playing basketball in the Calabasas, California, area when he got into an argument on the court.
After the game, the man whom Owens had been arguing with got into his car and drove it straight into Owens' knee, police said.
Fortunately, Owens, 49, didn't require medical attention. The police did take a report concerning assault with a deadly weapon, but no arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing.
Throughout his career as a wide receiver, Owens earned numerous accolades on top of being an NFL Hall of Famer. Those included being a five-time First-Team All-Pro, six-time Pro Bowler and three-time receiving touchdowns leader, and being named to the 49ers Hall of Fame and the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team.
He racked up 1,078 receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns. He played with the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals.
TMZ noted in its report that Owens has been involved in other incidents that included conflicts.
In 2022, he got into an argument with a female neighbor, leading to her being charged criminally. Then, also in 2022, he got into a fistfight with someone outside a CVS, according to reports.
Owens' final NFL season came in 2010 with the Bengals. After that, he attempted numerous comebacks, playing for teams in other leagues such as the Allen Wranglers, FCF Zappers and Knights of Degen. In 2012, he had a brief preseason stint with the Seattle Seahawks but never saw regular season action.
In his career, Owens earned close to $80 million. His highest-earning season was in 2008 with the Cowboys, when he received $13.7 million.
