Terrelle Pryor is switching from quarterback to receiver

The Cincinnati Bengals decided to release Terrelle Pryor on Thursday night meaning A.J. McCarron is likely going to be the backup to Andy Dalton. Shortly after being released by the Bengals, Pryor's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, informed teams that the quarterback is going to switch positions. He is now a receiver.

After years of refusing to switch positions, Pryor is finally making the career decision he should have made a while back. Rosenhaus informed Pro Football Talk that there is already "extensive interest" in signing Pryor as a receiver. Why? Because he has world-class speed and has the size to be a productive receiver.

There is one problem. Last year, Pryor said he wouldn't make a position change because he didn't know how to catch.

"I don't know how to catch," Pryor said last June, while with the Seahawks. "I've been a quarterback my whole life."

He is going to have to learn soon.
