As noted by Pro Football Talk, Manning's $19 million salary becomes fully guaranteed if he's still on the roster at the end of the day on March 8.
If Manning opts to play another year, it's almost guaranteed that he won't be playing at that salary, much less on the Broncos next season. If he does hit the free agent market, at least one team has reportedly expressed interest.
