The Chiefs Went All Out For Taylor Swift's Birthday Present

The Kansas City Chiefs are all-in on Taylor Swift and All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce's love story.

Swift turned 34 this week, and Chiefs ownership spared no expense for the pop star's birthday present, even though Kelce couldn't attend the mega-star's star-studded birthday bash because of Kansas City's practice schedule ahead of Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

According to The Daily Mail, Tavia Hunt, the wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, told the Daily Mail that they got Swift a $5,000 Judith Leiber clutch in the shape of a microphone, similar to the one that Swift might use on stage at one of her concerts.

Swift has become a bit of a mainstay on Chiefs Sundays, attending games to support Kelce against the likes of the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, and others throughout the course of the 2023 NFL season. Kelce and Swift have even moved in together in the tight end's Kansas City home.

In addition to Swift supporting Kelce at several games, Kelce also flew to Buenos Aires to attend one of the concerts on Swift's Eras Tour back in November.

While some fans have criticized the NFL's focus on Swift during game broadcasts, or wondered if she is a distraction to Kelce, the Chiefs' generous birthday present make it obvious that they do not agree with any of those sentiments.

TMZ reports that in the aftermath of her birthday, Swift arrived in Foxboro to watch Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Patriots in Week 15. The Chiefs and Patriots kickoff at 1 p.m. on Dec. 17 at Gillette Stadium..
