The Cowboys' backup plan just went out the window, now what?

Terrible news for the Cowboys.

It hasn't been long since training camp opened, and the Dallas Cowboys are already scrambling with an injury issue, as quarterback Kellen Moore broke his ankle at practice Tuesday evening:

The former Boise State quarterback, Moore, was Dallas' main backup who started two games and played in three contests last season.

With Moore injured, that leaves rookie Dak Prescott and former practice squad quarterback Jameill Showers as the lone quarterbacks behind the oft-injured, 36-year-old Tony Romo.

While Jerry Jones said last week Nick Foles wasn't an option, maybe he is now?

From Johnny Football to Foles, quarterbacks looking for a job will be lining up outside of the Cowboys general manager's door.
