The Cowboys have stooped to a new low and taken another team's slogan

If you can't beat them, emulate them?

If you can't beat them, or even emulate them, may as well steal from them, right?

That must be what's on Jerry Jones' mind after ESPN's Darren Rovell posted this picture of three simple words posted in the Cowboys' locker room that seem to have been, at least, inspired by the New England Patriots.

The Patriots, coincidentally, have a trademark on the phrase. Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski took exception to the blatant stealing on his website:

"While we all know that the Pats thrashed the Cowboys 30-6 last October and Dallas hasn't been to the Super Bowl since the 1995 season, so they need all the motivation they can get - but can't America's Team come up with their own slogan instead of stealing ours?"

Maybe Dallas didn't know taking another team's cliché slogan was frowned upon. I'd hate for someone to trademark "next man up" or "take it one game at a time." We'd lose a lot of quotes if that were the case.
