The Dallas Cowboys will have a top defender back sooner than they thought

The Cowboys should be feeling a whole lot better now.

The Dallas Cowboys have had a rough offseason with the loss of Tony Romo for a majority of the season and Darren McFadden out at least six weeks on the non-football injury list. The Cowboys also suffered three suspensions for linebacker Rolando McClain and defensive ends DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory.

However, one of them just got his 10-game suspension reduced and will be back much sooner than expected.

The second-year defensive end out of Nebraska recorded 11 tackles last season in 12 games played —- he was suspended last year as well —- and was looking to become a bigger part of the defense this season. It looks like he'll have to do it for the last 12 games of the season yet again.
