The most productive red-zone passer is not Cam Newton nor Tom Brady, but this guy

Did not expect this guy to top the list.

The 2015-16 NFL season has been one full of surprises, but none have been more shocking than this one per Pro Football Reference.

The most productive quarterback in the red zone this season with a minimum of 50 attempts was none other than Detroit Lions gunslinger Matthew Stafford.

Stafford's 27 touchdowns are just one less than Tom Brady's 28, but he had zero interceptions and was sacked just three times. He also had the highest completion percentage at 68, higher than Drew Brees, Brady and Cam Newton.

Despite missing Calvin Johnson off and on this year, there's a serious threat that he may have to do damage through the air without Megatron in the near future.
