South Florida football player LaDarrius Jackson was arrested on charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment, and the New York Post wrote a story on the subject.

However, the headline of the story is "Jameis Winston football friend accused of horrifying sexual assault," and Winston is also mentioned in the tweet with the story.

Winston and Jackson are friends, but Winston has nothing to do with the story. The story also details Winston's sexual assault allegation from when he played at Florida State—which has nothing to do with Jackson's arrest.
The paper was heavily criticized on Twitter.
Mentioning Jameis Winston in this is pathetic... https://t.co/zrloNDY7c3

It was an irresponsible move for the New York Post to include Winston in the story and especially the headline.
The story should be focused on Jackson's actions and arrest, not Winston. The New York Post deserves to be crushed for doing that.
