The first HBO series Hard Knocks started in 2001 and has aired for 11 seasons with it ending near the beginning of each NFL season. It's been a fun and interesting show for casual and hardcore fans of football as it showcases a different team each season and how they prepare for the season.
Some teams are much more dramatic than others dealing with front office troubles or franchise player issues. This year, the NFL might have to force a team to go on the show as no one seems to want to volunteer. According to Mike Florio from PFT.com, the Saints are bracing for the possibility of being forced to be on this year's edition of Hard Knocks.
The Saints might have some compelling television on their hands with the end of Drew Brees' career and Sean Payton's tenure as head coach seemingly at its end as well. Rob Ryan is gone, but there is still plenty of turmoil for some good TV.
