The NFL has finally defeated Tom Brady, meaning DeflateGate is over

Finally.

Tom Brady's four-game suspension was upheld by the Federal appeals court on Wednesday, meaning the quarterback will officially miss the first four games of the season.

Brady waved the white flag on Friday, officially ending the DeflateGate saga:

The Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills will give the likely starter Jimmy Garoppolo a warm welcome to the NFL over the first four games of the season.

With just two years remaining on his deal, there's no better time than now than to see what the Eastern Illinois product is made of. Is he the heir apparent to Brady's Pats? Will he be trade bait later in the season, or will he command a Brock Osweiler-esque deal in free agency two years from now? It all starts with Week 1 against the Cards and a fairly stiff list of opponents.

As for Brady, look out Cleveland Browns. When Touchdown Tom gets back on the field in Week 5, he'll be ready to go, and should light up a porous Cleveland secondary. That one could get ugly in a hurry.
