The NFL's most disliked player isn't exactly a shocker

New poll reveals most hated players in the NFL and number one is no surprise.

Colin Kapernick was voted the most disliked player in the NFL in a recent online poll—-surprising news to pretty much no one.

According to an ESPN report, a poll taken last week of 1,100 Americans conducted by E-Poll Market Research, found that 29 percent of respondents "disliked Kapernick a lot." The San Francisco 49ers quarterback was followed by Jameis Winston at 22 percent, Ndamukong Suh at 21 percent, Tom Brady at 13 percent and Ben Roethlisberger at 10 percent.

Kapernick's national anthem protest, in which he's been taking a knee while the anthem is played before games to call attention to police brutality and racial injustice in the country, is the obvious catalyst.

Two years ago, when the poll was last conducted, Kapernick was "disliked a lot" by just six percent of respondents.
