The QB no one is talking about could soar into the first round, according to one new mock draft

Wait, what?

Former California Golden Bear quarterback Davis Webb is one of the more intriguing quarterback prospects in the 2017 NFL Draft Class. That said, Webb hasn't been really considered to be a first-round prospect to this point, but CBS Sports' Pete Prisco released his latest mock draft on Wednesday, and he has Webb going in the first round to the Houston Texans.

Here's what Prisco said about Webb going to Houston at No. 25:

"Davis Webb, QB, California: He is a kid who will go higher than many expect. He had a nice pro day in the rain that impressed the scouts."

Webb isn't the first quarterback Prisco has being taken in the first round of his mock draft, though. Prior to the Texans selecting Webb, Prisco has Patrick Mahomes, DeShaun Watson, and Mitch Trubisky all being taken before Webb.

It is interesting, however, that he doesn't have any of the quarterbacks being selected in the top-nine selections.
