There have been some rumors circulating that the New Orleans Saints might try to trade head coach Sean Payton or get rid of him entirely. It seems that won't be the case as the coach and the team have come to an agreement on an extension for him that's worth a pretty big sum of money.
The Saints still have Drew Brees at quarterback and some decent pieces to work with so hopefully they can compete in the NFC South and give the Carolina Panthers a run for their money.
