The AP is reported that they received an errant text from Johnny Manziel's lawyer on Wednesday, and the exchange revealed a lot about just how bad of a predicament Manziel is in.

In the aftermath of that disastrous release, the attorney that reportedly sent the message has resigned.
The attorney revealed that they will likely attempt a plea agreement in Manziel's current domestic violence case, and that the legal team expresses a lot of doubt on whether or not Manziel can stay clean. The reason why? Manziel potentially spent over $1,000 on drug paraphernalia just hours after a hit-and-run incident earlier this week.
"Heaven help us if one of the conditions is to pee in a bottle," the attorney reportedly said about the potential plea agreement.
Manziel's domestic violence case stems from a January incident where Manziel reportedly struck and threatened his then-girlfriend. According to the AP, Manziel faces up to a year in jail if convicted of misdemeanor assault.
In addition to the domestic violence case and the car accident, Manziel has been exhibiting a public meltdown over the past few months involving drugs and alcohol. The former Heisman winner's condition has deteriorated so much recently that friends and family have been expressing public concern over whether the quarterback will even make it to see his 24th birthday.
