This Former NFL Player Is 'Flabbergasted' That Travis Kelce Snubbed Him From Wedding Invite List

Will Compton is taking his Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding snub in stride, but that doesn't mean he isn't a little surprised.

The former NFL linebacker and co-host of the popular Bussin' With the Boys podcast joked Monday that he was "flabbergasted" not to receive an invitation after seeing who did make the guest list.

"I'm gonna be honest, I didn't think nothing of it," Compton said during an appearance on Wake Up Barstool. "All these photos I keep seeing, I see Dean Blandino got an invite. Is that real?"

Calling in from Italy while walking on a treadmill, Compton admitted the more wedding photos he saw online, the more he started wondering how he and podcast co-host Taylor Lewan got left off the list.

"As I've been seeing these photos of everybody else at that wedding, I am pretty flabbergasted that we didn't get the invite," Compton said. He later joked on X that it was a "tough phone call" to make while getting in a workout.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy piled on, pointing out that it seemed like just about everyone connected to Tight End University attended the July 3 ceremony — except Compton and Lewan.

The reaction caught attention because the two have become regular fixtures at Tight End University, the annual event founded by Kelce alongside fellow NFL tight ends George Kittle and Greg Olsen. Compton and Lewan recently helped emcee the popular Tight Ends & Friends concert during this year's gathering in Nashville.

Lewan has also been outspoken in his praise of both Kelce and Swift.

Speaking on Bussin' With the Boys after Tight End University wrapped up, Lewan called Swift "incredible" following her surprise performance with Lainey Wilson and said he admired the way she carries herself despite her global fame.

He also reflected on his longtime friendship with Kelce, saying the Chiefs star hasn't changed despite becoming one of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.

"The guy has been the same dude since the day I've met him," Lewan said. "That is such a rare thing to have."
