Todd Gurley sweeps rookie awards following dominant first season

Todd Gurley took the NFL by storm.

First-round draft pick Todd Gurley entered the NFL with big question marks about how he'd enter the league less than a year after tearing his ACL.

His response? A 1,000-yard rushing season, a Pro Bowl invite and according to the official team website the Pro Football Writers of America Offensive Rookie of the Year and overall Rookie of the Year award.

Gurley, the 10th pick in last year's draft, scored 10 touchdowns in 13 games and became the first rookie to rush for 125 yards or more in four consecutive games.

Gurley beat out rookie quarterback Jamies Winston (4,042 yards, 22 touchdowns, 15 interceptions, 58.3 completion percentage) and wideout Amari Cooper (72 receptions, 1,070 yards, six touchdowns) for the rookie awards.
