Will Tom Brady's Fanatics Flag Football Classic Return in 2027?

Tom Brady's flag football return may have an encore. Fanatics has already mentioned a 2027 Fanatics Flag Football Classic, though it has not announced a date, venue, teams or ticket information.

The clue appeared in a Fanatics Studios announcement earlier this year. Describing a planned Brady documentary, the company said it would follow him as he prepared for the Flag Football Classic "in 2026 and 2027." That points to a second event, but it is not yet a full event announcement.

The inaugural tournament took place March 21 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles after being moved from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Brady co-captained Founders FFC with Jalen Hurts, while Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels led the Wildcats. Both faced the U.S. men's national flag football team.

Brady supplied an immediate highlight, throwing a touchdown to Stefon Diggs on his first play and finding former teammate Rob Gronkowski for the conversion. Team USA soon took control. It beat Brady's Founders 43-16 and went on to defeat the Wildcats 24-14 in the championship game.

Those results gave the NFL stars a firsthand look at the specialists they might have to face if they pursue flag football spots for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

So, will Brady be back in 2027? Fanatics has put the year in writing. The details of another Classic, including whether Brady will play, are still to come.
