Roast J Simpson Flies At Tom Brady Roast, But Not Robert Kraft Massage Joke

Plenty of jabs took place, some incredibly wicked, at the Tom Brady roast special on Netflix. And no less than Jeff Ross helped to get things going by showing up in an O.J. Simpson jersey.

"The juice is loose tonight," Ross yelled to the crowd, before removing two gloves. "If the gloves don't fit, you must talk s—t."

He wasn't finished.

"What's up, patriots," he asked, clearly a play on Brady's former team. "I just came from hell. Aaron Hernandez says hello."

The back of Ross' jersey read "Roast J Simpson" and along with Simpson's No. 32, sported what looked to be fake blood stains. So yeah, he went all out for this skit.

But Brady knew what was coming, and even indicated as much in his opening monologue.

"It's like a football game. You run with a game plan, and then you get to see kind of how the strategy goes, and then you adjust on the fly," Brady said. "This is what a locker room has been like for me for all these years. So it's not like I'm used to people not making fun of me."

Then again, not all the jokes were funny to Brady, it seems.

As the Guardian reports:

"The only time Brady objected to a joke was when Jeff Ross made a reference to Patriots owner Robert Kraft and massages. In 2019, Kraft originally received a misdemeanor charge that he paid for sex at a Florida massage parlor. Prosecutors later dropped the charge after courts blocked the use of video from cameras installed by police inside the massage parlors.

"In the sketch, Ross joked about Kraft offering Brady a massage when he first joined the Patriots. On Sunday, Brady walked up to Ross and said in his ear 'don't say that s—t again,' but it was clearly caught on the microphone and heard by those watching the roast at home."

So, massage jokes? Off-limits. But O.J. Simpson attire? Hey, roast away.
