Initially, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missing Tuesday's practice didn't seem like a big deal.

However, the five-time Super Bowl champion is reportedly dealing with a re-aggravated shoulder injury that occurred during last Thursday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NBC's Michael Giardi.
"Tom Brady injured his left shoulder vs Carolina and re-aggravated said injury in Tampa," Giardi wrote. "It's an AC joint sprain for Brady. Not expected to miss time."
Giardi's report was confirmed by NBC's Tom Curran, who claimed the quarterback underwent an MRI after the injury and should be back in time for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
"Tom Brady missed practice Tuesday as he had an MRI performed on his left shoulder," Curran wrote. "The MRI came back negative and Brady should be ready to practice this week and play Sunday against the Jets."
Brady had previously played through an AC joint sprain in Super Bowl XLII, according to MMQB's Albert Breer.
